New Wild Hog specializes in lush arrangements of traditional Irish and folk tunes. Suzuki Cady brings skills on 5- and 4-string fiddles, an intimate voice, original compositions, and a vast traditional repertoire. Jimmy Murphy applies his rich baritone voice and deep well of musical experience to guitar, mandolin, and vocals. Liam Kaplan provides style and flair on his guitar, flute, bodhrán, and vocals. Daniel Schoenfeld serves up a rich blend of melodies and accompaniment on Irish button box and bouzouki. Tim Crockett delivers clean finesse on both flute and bodhrán (Irish frame drum).
Rattle the Knee brings the traditional music of Ireland to the far western shores of America. It’s members have performed in well known local venues including the LA Music Center and the Ford Amphitheater, places around the country including the Grand Ol’ Opry & Carnegie Hall, and far off places including The Royal Albert Hall and the pubs and stages of Japan.
